"ITN Productions is such a varied place to work and there's always so much going on – one day there'll be a team shooting a TV advert with Ant & Dec, the next day a top politician will visit as part of an Industry News programme, and then the next day you'll realise that you've spent the last hour watching something ITN Productions has made on TV! There's not much getting away from it – most of us have to work. But at ITN Productions we want to make sure that people enjoy coming to work and we therefore put a big focus on making working life fun and helping, wherever possible, to create a good work-life balance. We do various wellbeing initiatives like free outdoor weekly exercise classes and subsidised massages, as well as lots of staff socials and parties. We involve staff every step of the way when it comes to how we can make life at Productions as good as it can be – regular feedback is welcomed, and we hold brainstorms to get staff input and ensure decision making is inclusive and collaborative. We also like to update staff as often as possible on how the business is doing, via The Weekly Round-Up email (by the people, for the people!), quarterly staff updates, and end of year reviews – with a focus on transparency.
We take the development of our people very seriously. Whether it's on the job learning, technical training courses, being mentored by some of the biggest and best gurus in the business, or inspirational management and leadership development programmes, we cater for everyone when it comes to learning and development. Give us a good enough reason to develop you in a particular area, and we will do it!
Everyone was new once so we try to make being new at ITN Productions the best 'being new' experience we can. Apart from the obvious friendly faces you'll be welcomed by, we give everyone a full induction on their first morning, you get to watch the lunchtime news go out from the gallery, and after a couple weeks you will be invited to new starter drinks with our MD. You will also feature in our weekly round-up to ensure that everyone knows each other.
